Hello Readers! It’s been a while since I last posted. I apologize if I wasn’t been as active as K because I got so busy with work. Anyway, I recently purchased a new pair of jeans from April77. In my opinion, they’re the best up-and-coming brand out there because of the fit and style variations they have. And to my surprise, mine came with a guitar pick with a “Go Mike!” inscription on it–talk about the coolest details! Another purchase I made was from Mr. Porter. I received the package beautifully wrapped, including a note from Mr.P himself. Ordering online can sometimes get so commercial but Mr. P makes sure that with every purchase, a good dose of detail is added on to make it special for you.

I must say that I’m a huge sucker for details. Whether it’s a simple notebook or a nice jacket, I always go for the brands who put an effort into detailing. For me, it gives you the simple pleasure of enjoying the product more with the craftsmanship and the details that go along with it. Plus, it makes the product one-of-a-kind and personal. M

I’M BACK! My apologies for the two-month hiatus as I’ve been dead busy since I started working. I’m on my second month as a Marketing and Editorials Manager for a Singapore-based luxury travel and lifestyle magazine. I’ve been pulling through 8.5 hour work days, MWF 5k runs and extended working hours attending events, which leaves me with very little free time divided into doing chores and rest. Whew. A week into my job, I’ve already experienced the pains of closing an issue which entails 1am dismissals and working on weekends. On the brighter side, I get sent overseas for media trips and I love going to events with my colleagues! K
